Global ICT Standards
Conference
ICT standardization experts from around the world gather with industry, academia and research institutions to share the latest knowledge and insights.
The Global ICT Standards Conference (GISC) 2026 is the largest international conference in Korea dedicated to ICT standards and intellectual property, held annually since 2017 to discuss the future of next-generation ICT technologies and standards.
Under the theme “ICT Standards and Intellectual Property: Shaping the Physical AI”, GISC 2026 will bring together global ICT standardization experts, industry leaders, academia, and research institutions to share cutting-edge knowledge and insights.
This year's conference will address key standardization issues in critical and emerging technologies such as Physical AI, quantum and satellite communications — exploring interoperability, trust, and the convergence of standards and intellectual property, and presenting a vision for the future digital society.
